Description

Job Description:

The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting quality control activities such as inspections and reporting within the assigned organization. 

You’ll be working with SLB, one of the world’s leading energy and technology corporations. SLB is expanding their operations to meet today’s energy needs, and they’re partnering with Raise to hire high volumes of contract workers that will help make affordable, clean energy a reality for everyone.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite - Shreveport, LA
  • Shift Details: Day and Night Shift available
  • Assignment Length: 6 month assignment with a high possibility of extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Pay Rate: $19.50 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests and inspect documentation, parts and components, materials, subassemblies, and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standard work instructions.  
  • Use measurement equipment with valid calibration and apply acceptable repeatability and reproducibility.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Document the results of inspections and tests using the designated business system, following applicable procedures and test plans.
  • Verify the stability of results over time, as applicable.
  • Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
  • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

 

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, procedures, and drawings.
  • Experience with electrical inspections, testing, or troubleshooting in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • High attention to detail required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with quality control or electrical testing/inspections preferred.
  • Experience with quality management systems is a plus.
